Ambassador Baghdasaryan’s Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of Viet Nam

On August 19, Ambassador Suren Baghdasaryan met with Mr. Bui The Duy, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of Viet Nam.

The interlocutors discussed prospects for cooperation between Armenia and Viet Nam in the fields of innovative and information technologies, emphasizing the importance of mutual visits, better awareness, and the implementation of practical programs.

Ambassador Baghdasaryan expressed hope that during the upcoming visit of the delegation of the “TUMO” Center for Creative Technologies to Viet Nam in September of this year, it would be possible to develop effective cooperation.

Deputy Minister Bui The Duy conveyed the Vietnamese side’s readiness to foster cooperation with the “TUMO” Center. At the same time, he noted Viet Nam’s interest in potential collaboration in the fields of semiconductors and 5G/6G technologies, inviting the Armenian side to actively participate in innovation and startup events held in Viet Nam.
