Visit of the Humanitarian Demining and Expertise Center SNCO Delegation to Hanoi

On March 20, in Hanoi, Vaghinak Sargsyan, Director of the Humanitarian Demining and Expertise Center SNCO, held meetings with Le Quang Hop, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Mine Action Center, and Colonel Nguyen Chi Thanh, Head of the Europe Division of the Foreign Relations Department of the Ministry of National Defense of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Vietnam, Suren Baghdasaryan, also participated in the meetings.

Director V. Sargsyan, expressing his gratitude to the Vietnamese side for their warm reception, presented the activities and missions of the Center he leads, not only in Armenia but also in several other countries. The discussion touched upon the importance of introducing the "Green Label" qualification system and applying "Green Demining" methods by Armenian specialists, ensuring that the environment remains unharmed.

During the discussions, the interlocutors emphasized the shared interests of Armenia and Viet Nam in the field of demining and expressed their willingness to enhance cooperation through experience exchange, joint training programs, and other initiatives.

Director V. Sargsyan invited the delegation of the Vietnam National Mine Action Center to visit Armenia.
