NA Speaker Alen Simonyan Meets with President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam

Armenian NA Speaker Alen Simonyan met with the President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, Luong Cuong, within the framework of his official visit to Viet Nam. During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to Armenian-Vietnamese relations.

The NA Speaker thanked the Vietnamese side for the warm welcome and expressed that he considered the visit to Viet Nam to be very productive. The Vietnamese President, in turn, thanked the Armenian NA Speaker for the visit and noted that a new chapter is opening in bilateral relations.

The interlocutors also touched upon investment issues and emphasized that, despite the increasing pace of trade, there are still untapped opportunities. The issue of starting cooperation in the educational sector, based on successful historical experience, was also a central topic of discussion.
