Armenian Brandy and Wine Tasting Evening Held in Hanoi

15 April, 2026

On the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Viet Nam, the first official tasting of Armenian brandy and wine took place at the "Armo-House" Armenian restaurant in Hanoi. The event was organized with the support of leading Armenian producers, the "Ararat Brandy" factory and the "MAP" winery.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials of the state bodies of Viet Nam, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Hanoi, as well as dozens of guests from cultural and business circles.

Ambassador of Armenia to Viet Nam Suren Baghdasaryan delivered the opening remarks. In his speech, the Ambassador specifically emphasized the synergy between Armenia's rich heritage and Viet Nam's dynamically developing market.

The Ambassador noted: “Armenia is considered one of the oldest winemaking centers in the world, with a history of more than 6,000 years. Today, we present a product where centuries-old traditions are harmoniously combined with modern innovation."

Ambassador Baghdasaryan also informed the attendees that later this year Armenia will host a prestigious international wine contest and a Wine Festival, inviting Vietnamese partners to explore new opportunities for trade cooperation and the export of Armenian beverages.

Guests had the opportunity to taste a selection of fine Armenian wines and legendary brandy while enjoying samples of traditional Armenian cuisine.

The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, marking an important step toward strengthening Armenian-Vietnamese economic and cultural ties.
