Meeting of Ambassador Baghdasaryan with the Minister of Public Security of Viet Nam

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Suren Baghdasaryan, met with the Minister of Public Security of Viet Nam, Member of the Politbureau of the Central Committee of Vietnamese Communist Party Luong Tam Quang.

The interlocutors, highly appreciating the visit of the delegation led by the Chairman of the National Assembly of Viet Nam to Armenia in April 2025, discussed the progress of implementation and the recorded outcomes of the agreements reached on sectoral cooperation as following that visit.

Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed readiness to deepen cooperation with the relevant state agencies of the Republic of Armenia on security matters, emphasizing the importance of intensifying the exchange of information and experience, as well as organizing mutual visits. The Minister expressed confidence that these steps would contribute to raising the level of mutual understanding between the two countries and to the development of multifaceted exchanges.

Ambassador Suren Baghdasaryan, for his part, emphasized the need for the full implementation of the agreements reached between the relevant institutions of the two countries. The importance of intensifying cooperation in various directions was highlighted, including the establishment of the necessary legal and institutional frameworks, the development of cooperation between police educational complexes, the implementation of joint measures in the framework of combating cybercrime, as well as issues related to migration policy and the movement of citizens.
