Ambassador of Armenia Meets with Viet Nam’s Vice Minister of Industry and Trade and Co-Chair of the Armenia–Viet Nam Intergovernmental Commission

The Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Viet Nam, Suren Baghdasaryan, had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, Phan Thi Thang, who also serves as the Co-Chair of the Armenia–Viet Nam Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation.

The interlocutors, highly appreciating the results of the official visit to Yerevan in April 2025 by the delegation led by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, as well as the political consultations held in Hanoi in October of the same year between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Viet Nam, discussed a number of issues related to the timing and bilateral agenda of the upcoming second meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission to be held in Yerevan.

The parties also touched upon the prospects for increasing the volume of Armenia–Viet Nam bilateral trade, emphasizing the significant potential for cooperation in a number of fields, including textiles, agriculture, IT and innovative technologies, as well as science and education.
