Armenian Ambassador Participated in the Press Conference Dedicated to the 10th Anniversary of the EAEU–Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement

On May 29, Ambassador of Armenia Suren Baghdasaryan participated in a press conference organized for Vietnamese media in Hanoi, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Free Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

The event was also attended by Ta Hoang Linh, Director General of the European-American Market Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Viet Nam K. Tumysh, Ambassador of the Russian Federation G. Bezdetko, and Ambassador of Belarus U. Baravikou.

In his remarks, Ambassador Baghdasaryan noted that Viet Nam is an important partner for Armenia in the Southeast Asian region, and that the EAEU–Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement contributes to the growth of bilateral trade.

According to the Ambassador, the trade turnover between Armenia and Viet Nam reached approximately USD 826 million in 2024.

In the context of the Armenian Government’s “Crossroads of Peace” initiative, Ambassador Baghdasaryan emphasized the importance of promoting business relations with Viet Nam, expanding logistical capabilities, and implementing mutually beneficial projects.
