Meeting of the Ambassador Vahram Kazhoyan with the Chairman of Vietnam Aviation Business Association and Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation Pham Viet Dung.

Vahram Kazhoyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam had a meeting with Mr. Pham Viet Dung, Chairman of Vietnam Aviation Business Association (VABA) and Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATMC) on January 11, 2023.

The parties discussed the prospects of establishing direct air communication between Armenia and Vietnam, the development and deepening of cooperation in the spheres of tourism and economy, issues related to passenger and cargo transportation, the expansion of the legal field and a number of other issues during the meeting.

Ambassador Kazhoyan particularly noted that the establishment of direct air traffic between Armenia and Vietnam will contribute to the development and deepening of cooperation between the two countries in tourism, trade-economic, and other areas. It will also allow passengers to fly from Vietnam to Armenia and then transit to Russia, other CIS countries, Middle East and Europe.

The parties agreed to develop cooperation between the two countries in the field of air communication, starting with the signing of an agreement on air communication between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Aramazd Muradyan, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia and Mr. Le Ngoc Thang, Vice Director of Corporation of Vietnam Aviation Business Association and Mr. Duong Manh Cuong, Deputy Chairman of Vietnam-Armenia Friendship Association (VAFA) participated in the meeting.
