Meeting between Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vahram Kazhoyan and Acting President of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam Pham Lan Dung.

Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vahram Kazhoyan paid a visit to the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam on July 12, 2022, and had a meeting with the Acting President of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam Ms. Pham Lan Dung.

The interlocutors discussed issues of deepening cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia and Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, as well as establishing cooperation and signing a memorandum of understanding between the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. The parties also exchanged thoughts on a number of regional issues and discussed other important aspects of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During the meeting, parties preliminarily agreed to arrange a series of lectures at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam to be delivered by Vahram Kazhoyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Vietnam and Vahe Gabrielyan, Director of the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

During the exchange of views, Ambassador Kazhoyan told his counterpart about the disastrous humanitarian situation created in Artsakh and the territories passed under the control of Azerbaijan and the issues of the destruction of Armenian Cultural Heritage, as a result of the 44-days war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh in 2020.

Ambassador Kazhoyan also presented the main priorities of the foreign policy implemented by the Republic of Armenia.

Aramazd Muradyan, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia and Tam Nguyen, Secretary of the Embassy and from Vietnamese side Ms. Mai Thi Hong Tam, the representative of Strategic Research Institute and Nguyen The Quan, the representative of International Cooperation Department of Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam participated in the meeting between Vahram Kazhoyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Ms. Pham Lan Dung, Acting President of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
