Working visit of the Ambassador of the Republic Vahram Kazhoyan to Vinh Phuc Province

Vahram Kazhoyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, had a working visit to Vinh Phuc Province of Viet Nam and had an official meeting with Mr. Vu Chi Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

The sides discussed the possibilities of development and deepening of cooperation in the spheres representing mutual interest between Armenia and Viet Nam, particularly in the spheres of trade, economy, industry, tourism and culture, specifically between the regions of Armenia and the provinces of Viet Nam. The parties also exchanged ideas concerning the current situation in the regions and other themes.

Ambassador Kazhoyan presented the current humanitarian situation in Nagorno Karabakh, as a result of the illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan.

Mr. Vu Chi Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee presented the most developed spheres of the province adding that the province pays attention to the recovery of ecosystems and the development of the tourism sphere, which attracts the foreign investors. Mr. Vu assigned the foreign affairs and culture, sport and tourism departments and other agencies of the Provincial People's Committee to closely cooperate with the Embassy of Armenia and reaffirmed that Vinh Phuc Province has created all the necessary favorable condition for foreign, including Armenian enterprises, for foreign direct investment in the province.

Taking into consideration the strategic position of the province, in the immediate neighborhood of the capital Hanoi and Noi Bai International Airport, Vinh Phuc is of significant logistic importance, in terms of cargo transportation throughout the entire region․
